Racont (“Racont,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect your information when you use the Racont mobile application, website, AI-powered speech practice tools, AI chat features, and related services. By using Racont, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

We may collect information that you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, profile information, interests, account credentials, user-generated content, speech recordings, transcripts, comments, ratings, feedback, AI chat messages, support requests, and other information you choose to provide.

Racont allows users to record and upload speech recordings. We collect and store audio recordings submitted through the platform in order to provide speech analysis, AI-generated feedback, transcription services, communication coaching, content publishing features, and related functionality.

We may generate transcripts, scores, summaries, recommendations, and speech analysis from user recordings. These materials may be stored and associated with your account to provide historical tracking, progress measurement, coaching insights, and platform functionality.

When you use AI chat, role-play scenarios, or conversational practice features, we collect and store messages, prompts, responses, conversation history, selected personas, selected topics, and related metadata necessary to provide and improve those services.

If you publish speeches or other content publicly, we may collect and store comments, ratings, likes, saves, reports, engagement statistics, and other interactions associated with that content.

We may automatically collect technical information such as device type, operating system, application version, browser type, IP address, language settings, crash reports, usage statistics, performance information, and diagnostic data.

We may collect information about how you interact with Racont, including features used, time spent in the application, pages viewed, recordings created, practice sessions completed, subscription activity, and engagement with community content.

We use your information to provide, maintain, operate, improve, secure, personalize, and support Racont. This includes creating accounts, providing speech analysis, generating AI feedback, enabling AI conversations, displaying public content, improving platform performance, detecting abuse, responding to support requests, enforcing policies, processing payments, and developing new features.

To provide AI-powered features, your recordings, transcripts, prompts, messages, and related information may be processed by third-party artificial intelligence service providers. These providers process data on our behalf to generate analysis, feedback, coaching, summaries, and conversational responses.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers, cloud hosting providers, analytics providers, payment processors, authentication providers, artificial intelligence providers, legal authorities when required by law, and other parties necessary to operate the service.

You may request deletion of your account through the application. Upon deletion, we may remove or anonymize personal information, subject to legal obligations, security requirements, fraud prevention needs, backup retention practices, and other legitimate business purposes.

Racont is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we may delete it.

Your information may be processed, stored, or transferred in countries other than your country of residence. By using Racont, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws.
